Enakarhire makes way to Bordeaux

FC Girondins de Bordeaux have continued building for the UEFA Champions League by landing FC Dinamo Moskva and Nigeria defender Joseph Enakarhire.

FC Girondins de Bordeaux have continued building for their return to the UEFA Champions League by recruiting FC Dinamo Moskva's Nigerian international defender Joseph Enakarhire on loan for the season, although three players have been allowed to leave the Stade Jacques Chaban-Delmas.

UEFA Cup final
Enakarhire, 23, arrived in Europe in 2001 with R. Standard de Liège. He spent three seasons in Belgium before joining Sporting Clube de Portugal where he featured in the 2005 UEFA Cup final defeat by PFC CSKA Moskva. He was subsequently part of the influx of Portuguese players at Dinamo, signing for €6m with Luís Loureiro moving to Lisbon, but failed to replicate his Liga form. Bordeaux, who could make the transfer permanent next summer, have also brought in Johan Micoud, Stéphane Dalmat and Wendel.

Trio loaned
Bordeaux coach Ricardo has let three players leave on loan, however, with Portuguese international defender Beto moving to Spanish side RC Recreativo de Huelva for the season. Two of the French club's promising young players have joined Ligue 2 sides to gain experience, meanwhile; 20-year-old defender Ted Lavie has moved to FC Gueugnon and 19-year-old Burkina Faso striker Boubacar Kebe has joined FC Libourne Saint-Seurin.
