FC Internazionale Milano have signed Swedish international striker Zlatan Ibrahimović on a four-year contract from Juventus in a deal worth €24.8m.

Juve exodus
The 24-year-old is the latest player to leave the Turin club since they were relegated to Italy's Serie B for their part in a sporting-fraud scandal. Fabio Cannavaro, Patrick Vieira, Lilian Thuram, Emerson and Gianluca Zambrotta are among those to have already been sold.

Poor World Cup
Ibrahimović, who has 41 caps for his country with 18 goals, moved to Juventus from AFC Ajax in a €19m transfer two summers ago. He scored 23 times in 70 league appearances for the Bianconeri. The centre-forward endured a poor 2006 FIFA World Cup, struggling with injury and failing to find the target in three matches. He had recently stated his desire to quit the Delle Alpi.
