Inter duo facing fitness race

FC Internazionale Milano's South American duo Adriano and Iván Córdoba will miss Saturday's Serie A game against AC Siena and are also in doubt for the Nerazzurri's trip to FC Bayern München for their final UEFA Champions League Group B match three days later.

Injury setback
Brazilian international Adriano, who has recently returned to form and fitness after spending a month out of the team, is struggling with a back injury. Coach Roberto Mancini said: "The back problem he had ahead of the Coppa Italia game on Wednesday has got worse. He couldn't train yesterday or today, so he will rest." The 24-year-old striker is expected to recover in time for the Bayern tie.
