Knee injury robs Roma of Vučinić

AS Roma forward Mirko Vučinić will be out of action for a month after underging exploratory surgery on his troublesome left knee.

Cartilage damage
The 23-year-old Serbian international damaged cartilage in the joint during training. He had been seeking a return to his best form after suffering another serious knee injury during the summer. Vučinić has made eight Serie A appearances and played in three UEFA Champions League games this season. He is expected to be available again when Roma take on Olympique Lyonnais in the Round of 16 on 21 February and 6 March.
