"He will bring us some power on the flank," said GNK Dinamo Zagreb coach Krunoslav Jurčić after signing right-back Ivo Pinto on a four-year deal from CFR 1907 Cluj.

Croatian champions GNK Dinamo Zagreb have snapped up Portuguese right-back Ivo Pinto on a four-year deal from CFR 1907 Cluj.

A former Under-21 international, the 23-year-old has already joined up with his new team-mates in their preparations for the new season. "We were watching him and we liked him," said Dinamo coach Krunoslav Jurčić. "He is very solid in defence and he likes to join the attack at full speed, so we think he will bring us some power on the flank, which is very important in football today."

Dinamo are currently gearing up for their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round tie against CS Fola Esch of Luxembourg on 16 and 23 July, as they aim to reach the group stage for a third consecutive season.
