Güneş thrilled by Trabzonspor triumph

It was an undeserved defeat. We are really disappointed because we played some good football tonight. We have definitely been unlucky. I'm quite satisfied that the team performed on the pitch, but unfortunately we missed too many chances and conceded in the only one they created. This isn't a lucky period for the team; after Palermo we have suffered another defeat.

Tonight we created seven huge chances and didn't make the most of them, that is all. The players were really sad after the match, but at the same time they knew that this defeat was undeserved and they are ready to react. The season has just started, we have time to recover.

We came to Italy to play good football. Even if we were defeated by Inter we wouldn't see it as a loss, but my players maintained team discipline and played wisely. Our defence and goalkeeper were on great form on the day, we were free from all pressure this evening and the whole team played positively.

Besides scoring the winning goal, Ondřej Čelůstka had a great game too. To be the leaders of our group boosts our morale. Maybe we caught Inter unprepared today but there can be any outcome in football. There is huge pride for us to be in the UEFA Champions League. In addition to this, we have the responsibility of not just representing Trabzon, but Turkey in this competition.
