Best Barcelona and Milan players?

UEFA.com's Matchday Live show, from 19.30CET on Tuesday and Wednesday, wants your contributions – who are the best players to have represented AC Milan and FC Barcelona?

The final four matches of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 take place this week, with the clubs involved hoping to join Borussia Dortmund, Real Madrid CF, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain FC in the quarter-finals. UEFA.com's Matchday Live radio show will offer all the best coverage.

With 11 European Champion Clubs' Cups between them, FC Barcelona versus AC Milan represents a particularly heavyweight encounter. Massimiliano Allegri's masterful tactical setup when the sides met at San Siro in the first leg earned the Serie A team a 2-0 victory. We will have full match commentary of the Camp Nou return.

Given the illustrious history of both clubs, on the continent and domestically, we want you to tell us who you think are the greatest ever players to have represented Barcelona and Milan?

Perhaps the current crop of Blaugrana talent will receive your vote. Lionel Messi has finished top scorer in the UEFA Champions League in each of the past four seasons; Xavi Hernández has been key to Barça's three recent successes in the competition; Andrés Iniesta is the current UEFA Best Player in Europe. Or maybe you'll rewind further back in Barcelona's history to the likes of Hristo Stoichkov, Johan Cryuff, Ronaldinho, Romário or László Kubala. There are almost too many to mention.

Paolo Maldini won five European Cups

Few players can boast the type of career that Paolo Maldini had in the red and black of Milan, a spell which included a remarkable five European Cups prior to his retirement in 2009. Filippo Inzaghi's heroics in the 2007 UEFA Champions League final against Liverpool FC helped to cement his name into club folklore, while others may vote for Andriy Shevchenko, Kaká, Ruud Gullit, Marco van Basten, Gianni Rivera or Franco Baresi as the greatest player to have turned out for the Rossoneri.

Also on Tuesday we will provide updates from FC Schalke 04 versus Galatasaray AŞ. Burak Yılmaz's goal three weeks ago took him to seven for the season in the competition and prompted us in the Matchday Live office to consider the best ever goalscorers in UEFA Champions League history. We have already alluded to Inzaghi and Messi, yet what about Raúl González, Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruud van Nistelrooy and Shevchenko? Let us know who is your favourite and why this week.

On Wednesday we will deliver full match commentary of Málaga CF's attempt to come from 1-0 down in their round of 16 tie against FC Porto. We will hear from Eliseu and João Moutinho ahead of kick-off, plus we will get the thoughts of FC Bayern München's Bastian Schweinsteiger as the Bundesliga leaders host Arsenal FC with a 3-1 advantage from their impressive win in London. Listen for updates from Germany throughout the show.
