John Terry, Chelsea FC defender:

I was excited for the manager to come back. I am happy with my form and the way I am playing at the moment. My career is where it is because of the men sitting next to me now [José Mourinho]. When you're not playing week in, week out, it's difficult to take. When you get the chance you have to impress to stay in. I'm concentrating on playing well which I'm doing at the moment and hopefully everything else takes care of itself.

Mario Balotelli had been a doubt for tomorrow's game against FC Barcelona with a thigh injury but after AC Milan's afternoon training session, coach Massimiliano Allegri has decided the forward is worth the risk and included him in the Rossoneri squad. The Italian international has three goals in four Serie A appearances this year and scored from the penalty spot to earn a point against AFC Ajax on matchday two.

Luciano Spalletti, FC Zenit coach:

It is not a decisive game, but when we look at the table we know Porto is our direct opponent, and maybe the second place is decided in our two confrontations. I know that my players know they can qualify. I know that they will play with the right characteristics to get the result we want here.

Rafael Benítez, SSC Napoli coach:

We have a strong team with a lot of character. I am convinced that tomorrow we will show that on the pitch. It will be important for both teams to win, and we will make sure the result goes our way. Marseille have lost three games in a row so it will be even more difficult for us. They will want to show they can win the game, but we will show our determination. We are in the group of death as we call it.

Gökhan Inler, SSC Napoli captain:

We came here for a result. We are still alive in the competition and we will come to show our force. Tomorrow's game is very important but not decisive for us, we will have to show focus and determination. We will have to be focused from the start. It is a very important game for Marseille so we will have to be careful. We know the quality of their team. Like Napoli, Marseille have a very passionate crowd and stadium, we will be happy to play here.
