Real Madrid CF go into Tuesday's Copa del Rey semi-final second leg against Club Atlético de Madrid in confident mood following their 4-2 weekend Liga win at home to Villarreal CF which kept the Merengues level on points with FC Barcelona and Los Rojiblancos at the top of the standings.
Carlo Ancelotti's side are firm favourites to advance to the Copa showpiece after posting a 3-0 win against Atlético in last week's first leg, however, the Madrid coach is unwilling to take anything for granted against Diego Simeone's charges. "We have an important advantage but we will need to play with the same level of concentration and attitude as in the first leg in order to avoid problems," Ancelotti explained. "Games between teams from the same city are always more intense than other encounters. The best thing we can do is to forget about our lead. It will be a difficult game because our opponents are very strong."
