Anderlecht lose Wilhelmsson

RSC Anderlecht's Christian Wilhelmsson will be out of action for several weeks with a knee injury.
RSC Anderlecht midfield player Christian Wilhelmsson is expected to be out of action for at least six weeks after suffering a knee ligament injury.

Further examinations
The Swede picked up the injury in Anderlecht's 4-2 win against K. Heusden-Zolder on Friday. Hospital tests this week will establish the length of the lay-off he faces. However, the 23-year-old is certain to miss Tuesday's UEFA Champions League game against FC Bayern München and could also skip the following two matches against Celtic FC.

Broos blow
For coach Hugo Broos, the absence of one of his most dynamic performers will be a major blow. Anderlecht lost their opening Group A game 1-0 at Olympique Lyonnais.
