Patience the key for injured Inzaghi

Injured AC Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi hopes to be fit to face AC Sparta Praha on 24 February.

AC Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi is hopeful of returning for next month's UEFA Champions League tie against AC Sparta Praha after being ruled out for another month.

Calf injury
The 30-year-old Italian international is suffering from a calf injury and missed this week's Serie A victory at AS Roma. "I need to recover fully for Milan and for myself," he said. "I will miss a number of matches but you must be patient with these kind of injuries. I hope to be back in about a month."

Several injuries
Inzaghi, who has scored once in four Champions League outings this season, last appeared as a substitute in the European/South American Cup defeat by CA Boca Juniors on 14 December. Milan will travel to Prague for the first leg of their knockout showdown with Sparta on 24 February.
