Four-year deal
The 22-year-old midfielder signed a four-year contract on Wednesday and has already taken part in pre-season training with the German first division side.

Hertha exit
Meanwhile, relegated Bochum have agreed a deal with another of Germany’s European entrants next season, UEFA Cup-bound Hertha BSC Berlin, for Dariusz Wosz. The 32-year-old German international had requested a transfer back to Bochum after being kept out of the Hertha team by Sebastian Deisler.

UEFA Champions League
Leverkusen are set to play in the Champions League third qualifying round on August 7/8 while Hertha are in the first round draw for the UEFA Cup on August 24.
