Jiménez counting on home support

Published: Wednesday 24 February 2010, 22.20CET
Manuel Jiménez is hoping the Sevilla FC supporters can make the difference in the second leg after a 1-1 draw at PFC CSKA Moskva in the first instalment of the teams' UEFA Champions League first knockout round tie. "We're in a position now where we can reach the quarter-finals of the UEFA Champions League for the first time in the club's 104-year history," said Jiménez, whose side took the lead through Álvaro Negredo's first-half strike. "Our fans must score the first goal [in the return at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán]."
