Bendtner eyes Champions League glory

Published: Tuesday 9 March 2010, 22.59CET
Nicklas Bendtner said Arsenal FC "will do everything" to win the UEFA Champions League for the first time after the Denmark striker's hat-trick helped the Gunners to a 5-0 victory against FC Porto which secured a 6-2 first knockout round aggregate triumph.

"This gives us a lot of confidence," he said. "We've always wanted to win the Champions League as we haven't done it before, so we'll do everything to win it. Every time I play a new game I put the last one behind me. I'm happy about the hat-trick but tomorrow it will be forgotten."
