Sneijder hails Inter's united front

Published: Thursday 29 April 2010
Wesley Sneijder is anticipating a "great final" against FC Bayern München on 22 May after FC Internazionale Milano hung on to overcome FC Barcelona 3-2 on aggregate, despite having Thiago Motta sent off on 28 minutes. "We did very well," said the midfielder, whose side lost 1-0 on the night. "We defended very well with ten men for so long. We were very compact, fought for every metre and gave everything. That's what we said to each other before the game and we did it and we're in the final."
