The goalkeeper, 36, is now committed to the club until summer 2014. "The time I've been here has allowed me to experience both important victories and defeats but the club is happy with me and that gives me a lot of confidence," said the former Valencia CF No1, winner of two UEFA Cups, a UEFA Super Cup, two Copa del Reys and a Spanish Super Cup since joining Sevilla in 2005. "Right now we're looking to be in the best shape for our Champions League play-off [in August] – we will have to prepare well to get through."
