Celtic FC have completed their fifth signing of a busy pre-season by capturing Mexican international midfielder Efraín Juárez on a four-year contract.

The 22-year-old midfielder arrives from UNAM Pumas after featuring three times for his country at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. The former FC Barcelona talent joins fellow new recruits Charlie Mulgrew, Cha Du-Ri, Joe Ledley and Daryl Murphy as Neil Lennon's side prepare for their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round tie against SC Braga.

"He's got great energy, is really comfortable on the ball and works really hard off it," said the Celtic manager. "He's a very fit lad and I think his style will suit us. I saw Juárez playing against England at Wembley and thought he looked decent there, then again in the World Cup."
