The draws for the play-offs of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League will take place on Friday 6 August at the House of European Football in Nyon, starting at 12.00 and 13.30CET respectively.

The draw ceremonies will be conducted by UEFA general secretary Gianni Infantino and UEFA competitions director Giorgio Marchetti. For the champions route in the play-offs of the UEFA Champions League, the ten teams will be divided in equal number with five teams seeded and five unseeded in accordance with UEFA club coefficient rankings.

For the league route, which is the new name of the qualifying path involving non-champions from Europe's top 15 associations, the ten teams will be split in equal number as above with five seeded and five unseeded.

For the UEFA Europa League draw, the 74 clubs will be separated into five groups of ten teams and two groups of 12, with an equal number of sides seeded and unseeded within each group. Clubs from the same association cannot be drawn together.

Media representatives wishing to attend must apply by email to fame_accreditations@uefa.ch before Wednesday 4 August. Because of the number of club representatives expected for the draws, only six photographers and a restricted number of cameramen will be allowed to follow the draw in the auditorium. A sound system will be installed for cameramen.

A live feed from the draw hall will be available in the media working area, which is equipped with Wi-Fi connection. The draw will be transmitted live on UEFA.com and Eurosport.
