Back problem
The 25-year-old's existing deal was due to expire in the summer but coach Felix Magath has extended his stay until 2006. Dangelmayr has been blighted by injury this season and is recovering from a back problem.
'Important player'
"It is a shame he has been out with injuries so much, but he will be an important player when he is fully fit," said Magath. Dangelmayr, who came through the youth ranks at the Bundesliga club, has played no part in this season's UEFA Champions League campaign but did play in the UEFA Cup last year.
