Turkish champions Bursaspor have made CA Independiente forward Leonel Núñez their third Argentinian signing of the summer, with FC Porto defender Milan Stepanov also joining the UEFA Champions League debutants.

Following on from the capture of Federico Insúa and Damián Steinert, the 25-year-old Núñez arrives on a deal for two seasons with the option of a further term. Núñez, who scored 16 goals in 55 games during two campaigns with Independiente, previously spent the 2007/08 season in Europe with Olympiacos FC. He played 19 matches for the Greek side, albeit only four as starts, and scored two goals following a reported €3m switch from AA Argentinos Juniors.

Serbian international centre-back Stepanov, 27, follows Núñez in moving to Bursaspor, leaving Porto to sign a three-year deal. Stepanov, who played for Trabzonspor AŞ before going to Portugal, played on loan at Málaga CF last term. Both new recruits have UEFA Champions League experience and will hope for greater involvement when Bursaspor make their debut in the group stage next month. Meanwhile, another Argentinian striker, Leonardo Iglesias, has left the club after his contract was not renewed.
