Olympique de Marseille have received a boost ahead of their UEFA Champions League group stage campaign after Charles Kaboré and André Ayew signed new contracts.
Burkina Faso midfielder Kaboré has extended his existing deal at Stade Vélodrome for a further two years, keeping him at Marseille until June 2015. The 22-year-old, who joined OM from FC Libourne-Saint-Seurin in January 2008, scored once in 25 league games last season.
Ghana striker Ayew, 20, spent last term on loan at AC Arles-Avignon but has now agreed to stay with the French titleholders until June 2014 – an extension of three years. He has started both OM's Ligue 1 games so far this season. Marseille will discover their opponents in the UEFA Champions League group stage at next week's draw in Monaco.
