• Valencia played the last nine minutes with ten men after Marius Stankevičius was sent off.

• Valencia have four fewer points, and have lost two more games, than at the same stage last season.

• Isco, 18, scored twice − his first goals for Valencia − as Los Blanquinegros reached the last 16 of the Copa del Rey with a 4-1 second-leg triumph over UD Logroñés on 11 November. Unai Emery's side won the first encounter 3-0.

• Three days later, Isco made his Liga debut in a 2-0 home win against Getafe CF. Tino Costa's opener in that game was Valencia's 4,000th top-flight goal.

• Mehmet Topal was dismissed with the score goalless as Valencia lost 2-0 to Sevilla FC on 8 November.

• Emery's team will play Villarreal in the last 16 of the Copa del Rey. The first leg will take place on 22 December at the Mestalla with the return scheduled for 5 January.

Injury news
• David Navarro went off with a right thigh strain six minutes before half-time against Villarreal while Miguel was taken off two minutes before the hour with a similar problem. Both will miss the Bursaspor game.

• Jordi Alba missed the Villarreal match because of tonsillitis, while Manuel Fernandes also sat the game out having returned from international duty with a bruised hip.

• Juan Mata was also absent having pulled out of the Spain squad for the friendly against Portugal on 17 November after injuring his right knee.

• Jérémy Mathieu was ruled out for three weeks after tearing his calf against Getafe.

• César Sánchez returned against Rangers FC on 2 November from a hamstring injury suffered in training the day after Matchday 3, but then tore his calf in the first half against Sevilla.

• Sofiane Feghouli scored on his comeback at home to Logroñés having torn an adductor muscle in training on 18 October.

• Miguel announced his international retirement on 9 September. He won 59 caps for Portugal and scored one goal, in a 5-3 friendly victory against Albania in October 2003.

• Valencia were named the third best team in Spain over the past decade in a study carried out by the Spanish Footballing Centre of Investigations and History (CIHEFE). FC Barcelona and Real Madrid CF were first and second respectively.

• Bursaspor's joint-top scorer last season, Pablo Batalla struck his first goal of the campaign as the Crocs extended their unbeaten away league record to ten games.

• Ertuğrul Sağlam's side have won just two of their last 11 games in all competitions.

• All nine of the goals Bursaspor have conceded this season in the Süper Lig have come before half-time.

• Bursaspor's 18-match unbeaten league run, which stretched back to a 2-1 reverse at İstanbul BB SK on 26 March, was ended by a 2-0 home defeat against Trabzonspor AŞ on 13 November. • Bursaspor were awarded a 3-0 win after their match at Gaziantepspor on 20 September was abandoned 11 minutes into the second half when the assistant referee was struck by an object thrown from the crowd. The visitors had been leading through Ömer Erdoğan's header.

• Bursaspor started their Turkish Cup campaign with a 1-1 home draw against Kırıkhanspor in the group stage on 10 November, Leonel Núñez scoring a 27th-minute equaliser two minutes after the third division side had taken an unexpected lead.

Injury news
• Sercan Yıldırım sat out the Manisaspor match due to a calf injury.

• Gökçek Vederson missed training on 15 and 16 November due to an intestinal infection but was fit to face Manisaspor.

• Ali Tandoğan suffered a head injury against Antalyaspor and subsequent scans revealed a minor fracture in his skull which required an operation. He has returned to light training and is expected to resume full training in mid-December.
