• Miroslav Klose is back in training after a hamstring problem that has kept him out since 12 October.
• Holger Badstuber was also due to resume training following a groin injury but suffered a setback and is expected to be out until the new year.
• Ivica Olić was ruled out for six months after knee surgery on 9 November.
• Arjen Robben (torn left thigh muscle) and third-choice goalkeeper Rouven Sattelmaier (bicep) are expected to be out until the new year.

• Tymoshchuk made his 100th international appearance in Ukraine's 2-0 defeat by Brazil on 11 October.

• Scott Chipperfield (back, out since 20 November) and Genséric Kusunga (knee, 30 October) have both been sidelined.
• Jacques Zoua, out of action since tearing a thigh muscle on 10 September while on duty with Cameroon, returned against Servette FC in the Swiss Cup on 20 November but has since suffered a recurrence.
