Valencia CF must negotiate their UEFA Champions League opener at Bursaspor without injured midfielders Éver Banega and Vicente Rodríguez after both were injured in Saturday's 1-0 Liga victory against Real Racing Club.
Argentina international Banega is set for a four-week spell on the sidelines with a left ankle sprain which will also rule him out of the Matchday 2 fixture at home to Manchester United FC. Vicente is set to undergo treatment on a hamstring strain. Unai Emery's side are making their UEFA Champions League return after a two-year absence and will face Rangers FC as well as Bursaspor and United in Group C.
