FC Internazionale Milano have continued to revamp their squad by signing Japan left-back Yuto Nagatomo on loan from AC Cesena until the end of the season, with Davide Santon moving the other way.

Nagatomo, 24, initially joined Cesena on loan in the summer from FC Tokyo but had his deal made permanent last week following a number of impressive displays for Massimo Ficcadenti's team. Nagatomo was part of the Japan squad − coached by former Inter trainer Alberto Zaccheroni − which defeated Australia in the final of the AFC Asian Cup on Saturday.

Santon, meanwhile, made the last of his 12 Serie A appearances this season in Sunday's 3-2 defeat of US Città di Palermo. The Nerazzurri face FC Bayern München in the UEFA Champions League round of 16, the first leg taking place at San Siro on 23 February.
