FC Barcelona have confirmed they will be without Gabriel Milito for up to four weeks after the defender injured a thigh during his side's 2-1 defeat by Real Sociedad de Fútbol.
Milito sustained a tear to his left thigh muscle while scoring a goal, which was subsequently disallowed, on Saturday. The news is a further blow to Azulgrana coach Josep Guardiola, who is facing mounting injury problems ahead of Tuesday's UEFA Champions League semi-final second leg against Real Madrid CF at the Camp Nou.
Barça must also make do without defender Martín Montoya, who is out for the season and scheduled to undergo surgery to repair the broken collarbone and dislocated left shoulder he suffered versus Sociedad, while Bojan Krkić (knee), Éric Abidal (liver tumour) and Adriano (hamstring) are also definitely out.
