• The draw ended Olympiacos's 100% start to the Super League campaign. Both sides finished with ten men after François Modesto and Grigoris Makos were dismissed two minutes from time.

• Olympiacos have not kept a clean sheet in six outings this season in all competitions.

• Ljubomir Fejsa made his Super League debut as Olympiacos came from behind to beat PAOK FC 2-1 on 2 October.

• Having enjoyed a 100% record at the Georgios Karaiskakis Stadium last term, the PAOK victory stretched Olympiacos's run of home league wins to 17.

• For the first time in Super League history Olympiacos finished with a side made up entirely of non-Greek players when they kicked off their league campaign with a 2-1 win against Xanthi FC on 18 September.

• Olympiacos's opening two Super League matches were postponed after the teams they were scheduled to face, FC Kavala and Olympiacos Volou FC, were relegated to the fourth tier.

• Marko Pantelić has scored in ten games since arriving from AFC Ajax in summer 2010; Olympiacos have won all of them.

Injury news
• David Fuster went off at half-time on Saturday after fracturing his rib and is likely to miss both Dortmund games.

• Giannis Fetfatzidis (abdominal problem, out since 12 September) returned as a substitute against AEK. Giannis Maniatis (left groin, 17 September) has resumed full training.

• On 7 October Fejsa (ankle) was replaced at the interval in Serbia's 1-1 draw with Italy, while Vassilis Torossidis picked up a rib injury in the first half of Greece's 2-0 defeat of Croatia.

• Giannis Potouridis featured in Greece's UEFA European Under-21 Championship qualifying wins (2-0 v San Marino, 6 October; 3-1 v Belarus, 11 October) on his return from a groin problem suffered on 16 September.

• Francisco Yeste had surgery on his left knee on 2 October and is expected to be sidelined until mid-November.

International duty
• Avraam Papadopoulos and Torossidis started Greece's 2-0 win against Croatia on 7 October but missed the Georgia victory four days later through suspension and injury, respectively, as the team booked a UEFA EURO 2012 spot.

• Potouridis had an early penalty saved but was later on target in Greece U21s' 3-1 success in Belarus.

• Olof Mellberg helped Sweden qualify for UEFA EURO 2012 as the best runner-up, playing every minute of qualifying victories against Finland (2-1) and the Netherlands (3-2).

• Tickets for Olympiacos's matchday three meeting with Dortmund sold out within 45 minutes of going on sale.

• On 3 October, Olympiacos announced the signing of full-back Giannis Zaradoukas and midfielder Vicente Monje on two-year deals after the pair were released by Olympiacos Volou.

• Ivan Perišić opened the scoring but was then sent off two minutes into the second half as Dortmund won their third successive Bundesliga game. Former Bremen defender Patrick Owomoyela marked his maiden appearance this campaign with his first top-flight goal since 13 December 2009.

• Robert Lewandowski scored the first hat-trick of his professional career and Roman Weidenfeller saved a penalty as Dortmund defeated FC Augsburg 4-0 on 1 October.

• Dortmund conceded twice in the final three minutes to lose 2-1 at Hannover 96 on 18 September, the first time they had been defeated after going in front since a 3-1 reverse at SC Freiburg on 8 May 2010.

• The Hannover defeat was Dortmund's third of the season in just six league games. They were not beaten three times last term until 26 matches in.

• Dortmund's 2-1 home defeat by Hertha BSC Berlin on 10 September ended their 18-match unbeaten run at home, stretching back to a 1-0 loss to Sevilla FC on 30 September 2010.

• Dortmund will be at home to second division SG Dynamo Dresden in the German Cup second round on 25 October.

• Four-time winners Dortmund suffered their first German Super Cup loss on 23 July, going down 4-3 on penalties against FC Schalke 04 following a 0-0 draw in Gelsenkirchen.

Injury news
• Mohamed Zidan and Marcel Schmelzer have not played since matchday one and two respectively because of thigh problems.

• Marvin Bakalorz (Achilles), who has not played this season, turned out for Dortmund reserves at SC Fortuna Köln on 1 October. Owomoyela (hip) made his comeback in the same game.

• Julian Koch, out with knee ligament damage since February, is not in Dortmund's UEFA Champions League squad.

International duty
• İlkay Gündoğan made his senior debut for Germany as a late substitute in the 3-1 win against Belgium on 11 October. Five days earlier he had helped the U21s to a 3-0 victory over Bosnia and Herzegovina.

• Perišić came on as a substitute in Croatia's qualifiers against Greece (0-2 loss) and Latvia (2-0 win) and will now face Turkey in next month's UEFA EURO 2012 play-offs.

• Jakub Błaszczykowski and Lewandowski scored one apiece each time as Poland drew 2-2 with South Korea on 7 October and overcame Belarus 2-0 four days later.
