• It is only the third time in 13 outings this season that Valencia have scored more than one goal.

• Valencia drew 1-1 with Athletic Club on 23 October, Roberto Soldado scoring an 89th-minute equaliser. Three days later Jordi Alba's 82nd-minute strike earned Unai Emery's men a 1-0 triumph at Real Zaragoza.

• Soldado has registered 19 times in his last 22 outings, a run that started on 2 April when he scored all Valencia's goals in a 4-2 victory at former club Getafe, although he has only three goals in his last 11 games.

• Emery's charges picked up 34 points from their last 19 Liga games in 2010/11, their best second half to a season since accruing the same tally in their championship-winning campaign of 2004.

• Valencia will play third-tier side Cádiz CF in the Copa del Rey round of 32 on 13 and 21 December.
