KRC Genk midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has been ruled out for three weeks and will miss Tuesday's UEFA Champions League Group E game against Bayer 04 Leverkusen after suffering a broken toe in the first half of Friday's 2-0 defeat at K. Beerschot AC.
"It is my little toe," said the 20-year-old, who was a member of the Genk side which lost 2-0 to Leverkusen on matchday two. "It is a complicated break as well. I cannot do anything at all with my foot because as soon as there is a little pressure on my toe, it hurts."
Already eliminated with two points from their opening five games, Mario Been's charges will look to bow out with their unbeaten home record intact.
