Chelsea FC midfielder Ramires is set to be out for three to four weeks after sustaining a knee injury during his side's 1-0 FA Cup fourth round victory against Queens Park Rangers FC on Saturday.

The 24-year-old Brazilian international, who signed from SL Benfica in summer 2010, suffered a medial ligament injury to his right knee during the second half of the west London derby at Loftus Road, which required the midfielder to come off.

Ramires has been a mainstay of the Blues' midfield this season, making 19 Premier League and four UEFA Champions League appearances, but the former Cruzeiro EC player now looks likely to miss the first leg of his side's round of 16 tie at SSC Napoli on 21 February. Chelsea host the Partenopei in the return at Stamford Bridge on 14 March.
