Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari has joined AC Milan on loan from arch-rivals FC Internazionale Milano until the end of the season, when his contract with the Nerazzurri expires.
AC Milan have signed Ghanaian international midfielder Sulley Muntari on loan from city rivals FC Internazionale Milano until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old's contract with Inter is due to expire this summer, bringing an end to Muntari's four-year stint at the club. He played for Udinese Calcio from 2002 before spending the 2007/08 campaign at Portsmouth FC, winning the FA Cup. He returned to England last term for a loan spell with Sunderland AFC.
He has scored seven goals in 66 Serie A appearances for Inter, but did not play in the UEFA Champions League this autumn. Milan take on Arsenal FC in the round of 16 on 15 February and 6 March, playing the first leg at home.
