• José Mourinho's side have scored 33 goals, the joint highest total in the competition along with FC Barcelona. They have had 90 shots on goal and been caught offside 46 times, both more than any other semi-finalist.

• Karim Benzema and Kaká have provided five assists so far, the joint highest total in the competition along with Bayern's Franck Ribéry and Nicolás Gaitán of SL Benfica.

• Gonzalo Higuaín, Xabi Alonso, Sergio Ramos and Fábio Coentrão will incur a ban with their next bookings.

• Bayern confirmed on 4 April that Gomez had signed a contract extension, tying him to the club until 2016.

• FC Basel 1893's Xherdan Shaqiri will join on a four-year deal this summer, when Schweinsteiger's brother Tobias, 30, links up with Bayern's reserve team from third tier SSV Jahn 2000 Regensburg.
