Chelsea FC have added to their attacking options with the signing of coveted Brazil midfielder Oscar from SC Internacional.

The European champions have not disclosed any details of the fee or the length of contract penned by the 20-year-old playmaker, who is in the United Kingdom preparing for the Seleção's opening match of Olympics, but reports have estimated the transfer to be worth around €32m.

Confirmation of his arrival comes 24 hours after the Blues announced the signing of Thorgan Hazard, the brother of Eden, who moved to Stamford Bridge from LOSC Lille Métropole last month. Marko Marin, another attacking midfielder, joined the west London club from SV Werder Bremen in May.

Oscar – full name Oscar dos Santos Emboaba Júnior – switched to Internacional in December 2010 from São Paulo FC, registering 11 goals in 36 league appearances for the Porto Alegre side. A senior Brazilian international with one goal and six caps to his name, he scored a hat-trick against Portugal in the final of the FIFA U-20 World Cup last summer.
