Kim Källström is on the verge of ending his eight-and-a-half year stay in Ligue 1 after Olympique Lyonnais reached an agreement with FC Spartak Moskva for the sale of the midfielder.
The 95-cap Swedish international will join the Russian club – who begin their UEFA Champions League campaign in the play-off round – for a fee of around €3m, subject to the 29-year-old passing a medical.
Should he do that, Källström will leave the Stade de Gerland one appearance shy of 200 for Lyon in the French top flight. Since joining Les Gones from Stade Rennais FC in summer 2006, the former BK Häcken and Djurgårdens IF player has won two league titles and as many French Cups.
