• Anderlecht are nine group stage matches without a win, since Vincent Kompany earned a 1-0 victory at Real Betis Balompié on 6 December 2005 to end a record run of 12 group stage defeats.

• Goalkeeper Silvio Proto is the only player to have featured in all 630 minutes of Anderlecht's campaign.

• Anderlecht have scored 47 UEFA Champions League goals, group stage to final.

• Anderlecht and GNK Dinamo Zagreb are the only teams still to score in this season's group stage.

• The Belgian club have had 12 shots on goal, the lowest total in the competition along with Arsenal FC and CFR 1907 Cluj.

• Anderlecht have collected ten yellow cards, the joint highest total in the group stage along with LOSC Lille.

• Marcin Wasilewski serves a one-game ban on matchday four after collecting three yellow cards.

• Tom De Sutter scored three times in Anderlecht's 4-1 win at KV Mechelen on Saturday, his maiden Eerste Klasse hat-trick. It took his tally to five goals in two games having struck twice in the 5-0 victory over KAA Gent on 30 October – his previous five league goals came over the course of 37 games.

• Cheikhou Kouyaté was also on target against Mechelen, his first league goal in 47 outings since the final day of 2010/11.

• Zenit's win against Anderlecht and FC Spartak Moskva's 2-1 triumph over SL Benfica made last time out the first ever UEFA Champions League matchday in which two Russian clubs registered victories.

• Viktor Fayzulin will incur a suspension with his next booking.

• Zenit have won their last six games in all competitions, their best sequence since a run of ten in a row between April and July 2010.

• Danny was a late substitute in Friday's 2-1 win against FC Rostov, his first appearance since a 0-0 draw at FC Porto on 6 December 2011. He ruptured cruciate knee ligaments on 5 February.

• Hulk is expected to be out for two weeks after suffering a hamstring injury against Rostov.

• Igor Denisov also came on against Rostov, his first appearance since 18 September because of disciplinary measures at the club.

• Roman Shirokov struck the late winner against Rostov; his six goals for club and country this season have all come after half-time.
