Romanian double winners FC Dinamo Bucuresti have signed Liviu Ciobotariu on a two-year contract.
Great experience
The 33-year-old defender returns to his homeland after five years in Belgium where he played for R. Standard de Liège, R. AEC Mons and latterly R. Antwerp FC, whom he joined in January. The former Romanian international was out of contract after being released by relegated Antwerp at the end of the season.
Steaua raid rivals
Divizia A runners-up FC Steaua Bucuresti, meanwhile, have raided city rivals FC National Bucuresti for their captain, left-back Peter Marin. The 31-year-old, who made 313 appearances during nine years at National, has signed a three-year contract.
Rapid bag Burdujan
Another capital club, FC Rapid Bucuresti, have signed 20-year-old Lucian Burdujan from relegated FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt. The Romania Under-21 striker has signed a three-year contract.
