Midfielder Lucho González led the measured celebrations after FC Porto confirmed their place in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 with a 0-0 draw at FC Dynamo Kyiv, but his side will not relax as they look to secure first place in Group A, while Dynamo know that their chances of progressing hinge on being more clinical in front of goal.

Lucho González, Porto midfielder
We managed to achieve our first objective, and we are very happy about that. Of course, we want to win our group now - that's obvious - but there are still two matches to go. We will play Dinamo Zagreb at home, and then we will have the decisive match for the group against Paris Saint-Germain, so first we have to beat Dinamo Zagreb at home. Now, we have to think about the domestic league as well, and look to recover from today, as we put in a lot of effort.

It was a difficult match. Dynamo are a very strong team at home, but I think we played a good game, and we would have deserved to win and leave with three points. But we are happy to have made it through the group stage. We came here looking for the victory, but we knew that with a draw we would achieve our first objective, which was to make it into the last 16. We managed to do that, and we are happy about it.

Andriy Yarmolenko, Dynamo midfielder
We can't consider this draw to be a positive outcome because we were at home and needed to win. The game was very even, and one goal could have decided it. We didn't play badly but, unfortunately, couldn't score. We passed up a few good chances so we must work harder in training. I missed one of the best chances. I wanted to put it in the far corner but my foot didn't connect with the ball well. Anyway, now is not the right moment to be upset. It's football - it's life. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. We still have a chance to qualify for the next stage. We must go for wins in our remaining matches and see where we end up.

Ognjen Vukojević, Dynamo midfielder
The coach thanked us after the game. He was pleased that we showed our character, but he has said we must fight until the end in the group and try to get as many points as we can. He also said we must seize every opportunity in Champions League matches. We had chances tonight and we wasted them. We analysed our mistakes in the previous game against Porto and remained focused until the final whistle. They came here for a draw and built their game accordingly. In the second half, we played much better but missed those chances. Now we need to earn points against PSG and Dinamo Zagreb. After all, we have to fight for our prestige.
