UEFA Champions League statistics
• Porto started the group stage with three victories for the first time since 1996/97, when they won four in a row.

• Lucho González has registered in all eight seasons he has appeared in the UEFA Champions League – five with Porto and three with Olympique de Marseille.

• Porto's next defeat in UEFA competition will be their 100th.

• Helton and Nicolás Otamendi played every minute of Porto's group campaign.

• Abdoulaye Ba's next yellow card will incur a suspension.

• Vítor Pereira's side are 12 games unbeaten since losing at Paris Saint-Germain FC on 4 December, winning nine. They remain locked at the Liga summit with SL Benfica, with whom they drew 2-2 in Lisbon on 13 January, all four goals coming in the first 20 minutes. Porto also advanced to the League Cup semi-finals, where they will host Rio Ave FC on 27 February.

• James Rodríguez returned after seven games out with a thigh injury as Porto won 2-0 at SC Beira-Mar on Friday, the visitors ending with ten men when Eliaquim Mangala was sent off late on.

• Christian Atsu was ever-present as Ghana reached the Africa Cup of Nations semi-finals, scoring once, and registered his first for Porto on Friday night.

• Porto have registered at least a goal in each of their last 18 matches.

• Porto are 67 games unbeaten at home in the Liga, dating back to 25 October 2008 and a 3-2 loss to Leixões SC.

• The Dragons are 32 matches unbeaten in the Liga, since a 3-1 loss at Gil Vicente FC on 29 January 2012.

• Porto's 12-match winning run in the Liga at the Estádio do Dragão ended on 10 February when they were held 1-1 by struggling SC Olhanense. Midfielder Tózé, 20, made his Liga debut as a second-half substitute.

• Porto have conceded just two goals in their last 13 home games in the Liga.

• Jackson Martínez has scored 25 of Porto's 68 goals this term in all competitions. He has found the net in 16 of his 19 Liga appearances, 20 goals in all, and has struck in nine of Porto's last ten matches in all competition.

• The Dragons' 18-game unbeaten start to the season ended with a 2-1 cup defeat at SC Braga on 30 November.

• Mexico defender Diego Reyes, 20, will join the Dragons this summer on a five-year deal from Club de Futbol América.


UEFA Champions League statistics
• Málaga were the fourth debutants to win their first three games in the UEFA Champions League, after AC Milan (1992/93), Paris Saint-Germain FC (1994/95) and Juventus (1995/96).

• Los Boquerones conceded their first goal of the group stage in Milan on matchday four; it was also the first time their defence had been breached in Europe this season in their sixth outing. The Spanish side have conceded just 12 goals in 24 fixtures in UEFA competition.

• Málaga are one of four unbeaten sides left along with FC Schalke 04, Borussia Dortmund and Juventus.

• Eliseu played every minute of Málaga's group campaign.

• Martín Demichelis is available after serving a one-game ban on matchday six; Weligton and Sergio Sánchez will incur a suspension with their next bookings.

• Manuel Pellegrini's side have had mixed fortunes since the end of the group stage, managing just four wins in ten outings in 2013, but that has not prevented them rising from sixth to fourth in the Liga. The highlight was a 3-2 victory over Real Madrid CF on 22 December, though a draw was all they could muster in three meetings with FC Barcelona last month, with two coming in the cup as Málaga's Copa del Rey ambitions were ended.

• Málaga had not kept a clean sheet in 11 outings before a 1-0 win at home to Athletic Club on Saturday.

• Isco made his senior international debut on 6 February, coming on as a substitute as Spain won 3-1 against a Uruguay side featuring Lugano in Doha.

• Júlio Baptista, back after an Achilles problem, made his first appearance in 16 months on 3 February.

• In December Isco was awarded the title of 2012 Golden Boy, an annual prize given by Italian publication Tuttosport to the best Under-21 player in Europe.

• Málaga went ten Liga games without defeat at the beginning of the season, their longest unbeaten start since 2002/03.

• Aged 16 years and 98 days, Fabrice became the youngest scorer in Liga history when he struck the only goal against RC Celta de Vigo on 18 August. He marked his debut for Cameroon with a goal on 12 October.
