UEFA Champions League statistics
• Málaga were the fourth debutants to win their first three games in the UEFA Champions League, after AC Milan (1992/93), Paris Saint-Germain FC (1994/95) and Juventus (1995/96).

• The Boquerones conceded their first goal of the group stage in Milan on matchday four; it was also the first time their defence had been breached in Europe this season in their sixth outing. The Spanish side have conceded just 13 goals in 25 fixtures in UEFA competition.

• Manuel Iturra, Weligton and Sergio Sánchez will incur a suspension with their next bookings.

• The Boquerones had gone 350 minutes without a goal in all competitions before Martín Demichelis' early header in Saturday's 1-1 draw at Real Valladolid CF. Isco and Joaquín were rested for the weekend game.

• Manuel Pellegrini's side have managed just four wins in 14 outings in 2013.

• Málaga suffered their heaviest loss of the season on 24 February, going down 3-0 at Real Betis Balompié.

• Eliseu has been out with strained knee ligaments since 3 February but is back in training.

• Júlio Baptista, back after an Achilles problem, made his first appearance in 16 months on 3 February. He suffered a hamstring injury on 24 February but is back in training.

• Isco made his senior international debut on 6 February as Spain won 3-1 against Uruguay in Doha.

• In December Isco was awarded the title of 2012 Golden Boy, an annual prize given by Italian publication Tuttosport to the best Under-21 player in Europe.

• Málaga went ten Liga games without defeat at the beginning of the season, their longest unbeaten start since 2002/03.

• Aged 16 years and 98 days, Fabrice became the youngest scorer in Liga history when he struck the only goal against RC Celta de Vigo on 18 August. He marked his debut for Cameroon with a goal on 12 October.

• Lucho González has scored in all eight seasons he has appeared in the UEFA Champions League – five with Porto and three with Olympique de Marseille.

• Porto's next defeat in UEFA competition will be their 100th.

• The Portuguese side have committed 111 fouls to date; more than any other side.

• Helton and Nicolás Otamendi have played every minute of Porto's campaign.

• Abdoulaye Ba's next yellow card will incur a suspension.

• Vítor Pereira's side are 16 games unbeaten since losing at Paris Saint-Germain FC on 4 December, winning 12.

• Porto have conceded just three goals in their last 15 home games in the Liga.

• Jackson Martínez has scored 28 of Porto's 72 goals this term in all competitions. He has found the net in 18 of his 22 Liga appearances, 23 goals in all.

• João Moutinho (thigh) and Eliaquim Mangala (shoulder) have missed Porto's last two games with injuries. Mangala was suspended for the 2-1 victory over Rio Ave FC on 23 February following his dismissal at SC Beira-Mar the previous weekend.

• James Rodríguez, who missed seven games with a thigh injury in January and February, has not scored since 25 November.

• The 2-1 home win against Rio Ave on 23 February was Pereira's 50th league game as Porto coach. The 44-year-old's record at that milestone was W38, D11, L1; only Sir Bobby Robson had a better return at the same stage of his tenure at the club (W40, D8, L2).

• Porto are 69 games unbeaten at home in the Liga, dating back to 25 October 2008 and a 3-2 loss to Leixões SC.

• The Dragons are 35 matches unbeaten in the Liga, since a 3-1 loss at Gil Vicente FC on 29 January 2012.

• Porto's 12-match winning run in the Liga at the Estádio do Dragão ended on 10 February when they were held 1-1 by struggling SC Olhanense. Midfielder Tózé, 20, made his Liga debut as a second-half substitute.

• The Dragons' 18-game unbeaten start to the season ended with a 2-1 cup defeat at SC Braga on 30 November.

• Mexico defender Diego Reyes, 20, will join the Dragons this summer on a five-year deal from Club de Futbol América.
