Eight clubs from five countries will feature in the draw for the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals from 12.00CET on Friday at UEFA headquarters in Nyon, Switzerland.

Full head-to-head records and team statistics are available at the bottom of the article.

The lineup was completed on Wednesday when FC Bayern München and competition debutants Málaga CF claimed the last two berths. The latter's defeat of FC Porto means that for the second year running there will be a new face in the last eight, after APOEL FC in 2011/12, and that Spain will have three sides in the draw – the first time a single member association has provided three or more teams for the quarter-finals since England's three representatives in 2010/11.

Bayern and Málaga joined FC Barcelona and Galatasaray AŞ, who won through on Tuesday. Real Madrid CF's hopes of a record tenth European Cup remain alive after they ousted Manchester United FC last week, while Juventus (seven years), Borussia Dortmund (15 years) and Paris Saint-Germain FC (18 years) all ended long waits to reach the last eight again with victory in their respective round of 16 ties.

The draw will be open, meaning, for example, that Madrid and Barcelona can meet, with the ties to be played on 2/3 and 9/10 April. The semi-final draw follows in Nyon on 12 April, and those games will take place on 23/24 April and 30 April/1 May. The 2012/13 UEFA Champions League final will be held on Saturday 25 May at Wembley, London.

All the draw proceedings will be transmitted live on UEFA.com. Our live DrawCentre will also bring you the build-up and post-draw reaction from Nyon.
