Train Like a Champion with PlayStation

Local amateur, school and youth teams can win the chance to train with a UEFA Champions League legend at the UEFA Champions Festival thanks to UEFA and PlayStation.

UEFA and PlayStation are giving boys', girls' and futsal teams the chance to win one of three exclusive training sessions with UEFA Champions League legends at the 2013 UEFA Champions Festival in Stratford between 23 and 26 May.

The competition is aimed at encouraging further participation in football among clubs and youth teams throughout London and the wider region. The three sets of winners will be invited to participate in their own training session on the main festival pitch with UEFA Champions League greats.

At the end of each session, six players per team will be selected to represent their legends in a competitive three-a-side match hosted by PlayStation, with players winning PlayStation prizes.

The Train like a Champion competition, in partnership with PlayStation, is taking place at the free four-day 2013 UEFA Champions Festival, held at The International Quarter, close to the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

Every winning team member will also be offered complimentary tickets to the UEFA Women's Champions League final on Thursday 23 May. Stamford Bridge in London is a fantastic setting for this year's final, and will provide fans with a great opportunity to watch top-level European women's football in a family-friendly environment. Tickets are available now.

How to enter:
Teams should submit their contact details and up to 200 words on the subject 'Why our team deserves to win an exclusive coaching session with a UEFA Champions League legend' by email to CoachingtheChampions@uefa.com.

The competition is open to schools, amateur clubs and youth teams between the ages of 12 and 18 years (boys and girls) across London and the surrounding area.

The winners of the girls and boys coaching sessions (scheduled for Thursday 23 and Sunday 26 May respectively) can bring up to 15 team members to the event, plus five official accompanying persons. The winning team for the futsal session (Friday 24 May) will be allowed to enter ten players only (plus five accompanying persons). Names will need to be registered and submitted to the organisers in advance. Team members should be of a similar age and standard.

Each session will end with six players being picked to play for their respective champions in a three-a-side match, where the winning side will be crowned champions and a player of the match chosen.
