Zlatan Ibrahimović reveled in his four-goal haul as Paris Saint-Germain FC won 5-0 at RSC Anderlecht, singling out the goal that completed his first UEFA Champions League hat-trick as his favourite.

"It felt like a very hard shot," was how the PSG captain put it. Anderlecht skipper Guillaume Gillet felt the ovation given to Ibrahimović by the home supporters following his stellar display was just reward for the Swedish star's "magnificent" match.

Zlatan Ibrahimović, PSG forward
I think I have to say the third goal was my favourite. It was a good goal as I shot from distance and timed it very well and it went in. It felt like a very hard shot. I was creating situations to score for myself and for my team-mates. OK, I did not score five and [Edinson] Cavani scored one but we still won 5-0 and it was very good. I think we have to take one game at a time and the further you go in a tournament the harder it becomes because the strongest teams keep themselves in the Champions League.

We are still in the group stage but if we win another one then we are qualified for the next round so we will take things one game at a time. We have worked very hard for this and I think we are a better team than last year. After a year together we know each other much better and some players have come in and made a difference. If you work very hard you get your rewards. Let's hope when we play Anderlecht at home we play a good game as well.

Gregory van der Wiel, PSG defender
I am very happy and I think we controlled the game very well. We scored three goals in the first half and that was perfect. I always try to find space to play to get forward and provide assists and Edinson is a player who can come inside and leave space for me. I am not surprised by Ibrahimović. I think he os one of the best players in the world and he shows us that every game with amazing goals. I think my favourite goal of his tonight was that one from 30 or 40 metres and he has got a lot of power and accuracy.

Guillaume Gillet, Anderlecht midfielder
Everybody saw what happened, those who were in the stadium and those who were watching on TV saw how strong they were. There was a really big difference between the two sides and that is all. We have to be lucid in our analysis and we have been making quite a lot of errors this season. To do something special we needed to make no mistakes and for everybody to be at 200% and that was not the case.

We have got a young side and when they come up against an armada like that, well that is what happens. I think the fans applauding Ibrahimović was something normal. The fans come to watch Champions League matches to watch stars. That was the case with Ibra who scored four goals here and was justly rewarded for it. It was magnificent what he achieved and for us it was catastrophic.

Frank Acheampong, Anderlecht forward
This is high-class football and I think we were not at our best today and the better side won this game. Football is an unpredictable game and while we lost this one by a huge margin I think we need to go home and sit down and analyse things. We have to forget about this game but also work on all our problems to correct the errors we made so that we can come back and try to win the next one. I did not start today and I think I need to work hard to get our place back in the starting lineup.
