Fabiano falls for Fener

Fenerbahçe SK have concluded their search for a left-back by signing Fabiano Lima Rodriguez.

Turkish champions Fenerbahçe SK have concluded their lengthy search for a left-back by signing Fabiano Lima Rodriguez on a one-year loan deal from SC Corinthians Paulista.

Brazilian connection
The 25-year-old defender, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Italian side Perugia AC, becomes the fifth Brazilian player at Fener, joining compatriots Alex de Souza, Marcio Nobre, Marco Aurélio and Fabio Luciano.

Petkov released
Fenerbahçe, who have qualified for the group stage of the Champions League, have also announced that Bulgaria international left-back Ivailo Petkov has been released from his contract.
