Manchester United FC have signed 16-year-old Parma AC forward Giuseppe Rossi.

Manchester United FC have signed 16-year-old Parma AC forward Giuseppe Rossi.

Born in the USA
Rossi, who was born in the United States, has featured for Italy's Under-19 and Under-17 sides. The announcement on United's website gave no financial details of the transfer. United begin their 2004/05 UEFA Champions League campaign in the third qualifying round. Last week, Sir Alex Ferguson's side also signed Spanish Under-17 international defender Gerard Piqué Bernabéu from FC Barcelona.
