Inter will start the new UEFA Champions League campaign in the third qualifying round after finishing fourth in Serie A last season.
Burdisso said: "Joining Inter is like restarting my career. Everything I have done until now was necessary just to arrive here but now I have a new challenge in front of me. The other Argentinian players at Inter told me that there are a lot of expectations for next season."
He added: "We want to win the title. I have always dreamed of playing for Inter because there were good Argentinian players here when I was a kid. The squad is really strong and I am sure we can win trophies."
