Simák will become the third new face at Sparta following the loan signings of Czech Under-21 defender Jirí Koubský from FC Tescoma Zlín and 22-year-old striker Michal Meduna from 1. FC Synot. Should Sparta sell him to another club during the next four years, Leverkusen will receive a portion of the transfer fee.
