Dovicovic destined for Djurgården

Swedish champions Djurgårdens IF have signed Slovakian midfield player Juraj Dovicovic.

Swedish champions Djurgårdens IF have signed midfield player Juraj Dovicovic from FK ZTS Dubnica.

Successful trial
The 24-year-old Slovakian impressed Djurgården's coaching staff during a trial spell at the club this summer and will now be in their squad as they prepare for their UEFA Champions League second qualifying round game against Sliema Wanderers FC or FBK Kaunas on 28 July.

'He will do well'
"Juraj made a very good impression when he was here, both during training and in the friendly game against Bröndby," said Djurgården sporting director Bo Andersson. "We have high hopes for him, and we are certain that he will do well."
