Lampard denies Chelsea, Spanish duo cruise

While Frank Lampard earned Manchester City FC a 1-1 draw against former employers Chelsea FC, Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona managed 13 goals between them in Spain.

Frank Lampard grabbed the headlines in England with a late equaliser for Manchester City FC against old club Chelsea FC, on a weekend that also ended with the likes of FC Bayern München, Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain dropping points. Real Madrid CF and FC Barcelona strolled to victory, in contrast, hitting 13 goals between them.

Juventus maintained their perfect start to the season with a 1-0 victory against AC Milan, Carlos Tévez scoring the only goal.
• Efforts from Kostas Mitroglou, Jorge Benitez and Pajtim Kasami earned Greek Super League leaders Olympiacos FC a 3-0 victory against Veria FC.
Club Atlético de Madrid remain unbeaten in the Spanish Liga this term following a 2-2 draw with RC Celta de Vigo.
• Swedish leaders Malmö FF failed to defeat Helsingborgs IF, conceding a late equaliser to draw 1-1.

Liverpool FC suffered a third defeat in five Premier League games this season, going down 3-1 at West Ham United FC.
• Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick as Real Madrid brushed aside RC Deportivo La Coruña 8-2 to avoid a third successive Liga loss. 
FC Basel 1893 strolled past FC Winterthur in their Swiss Cup second round tie, Breel Embolo's hat-trick shaping a 4-0 triumph.
PFC Ludogorets Razgrad moved up to third in Bulgaria, defeating PFC Litex Lovech 4-1 to make it eight unbeaten in the league.

• Down in France's bottom three before taking on EA Guingamp, AS Monaco FC boosted their campaign with a 1-0 success.
FC Zenit's dominant start in Russia continued as the league leaders made it eight wins from eight, José Rondón scoring a hat-trick in a 5-0 win at FC Rostov.
Bayer 04 Leverkusen slipped to a 4-1 loss at VfL Wolfsburg after losing Giulio Donati to an early red card.
SL Benfica made it four wins from five in the Portuguese Liga by coming from behind to down Moreirense FC 3-1.

Dortmund missed the chance to go top of the Bundesliga on Saturday evening when they succumbed 2-0 at 1. FSV Mainz 05.
Galatasaray AŞ fell further off the pace in the Turkish Super League due to a 2-0 loss at Balıkesirspor.
• Belgian First League leadersRSC Anderlecht, unbeaten in all competitions in 2014/15, defeated Cercle Brugge KSV 3-2.
• Three goals within four first-half minutes helped Arsenal FC see off Aston Villa FC 3-0 and seal a first win in four Premier League games.

AS Roma are top in Italy after a 2-0 success against Cagliari Calcio maintained their 100% start to the season.  
• Bundesliga champions Bayernremain winless away from home after playing out a 0-0 stalemate with Hamburger SV, but stay joint top. 
Manchester Cityavoided a home loss to rivals Chelsea FC thanks to Frank Lampard, the former Blues stalwart securing a 1-1 draw late on.
PFC CSKA Moskva made it three wins from three by edging city rivals FC Lokomotiv Moskva 1-0 thanks to Ahmed Musa's 33rd-minute strike.

Barcelona posted their biggest win of the campaign so far to make it five wins from five in Spain, dismantling Levante UD 5-0.
• Ricardo van Rhijn scored the only goal of the game as AFC Ajax defeated Feyenoord in De Klassieker to go second in the Eredivisie.
Paris were denied victory by a late Olympique Lyonnais leveller in a 1-1 draw at the Parc des Princes.
APOEL FC maintained their perfect start in the Cypriot First Division, prevailing 3-1 at Ayia Napa FC.

• André Schürrle gave Chelsea the lead at Manchester City, before departed Blues legend Lampard ensured the visitors dropped their first points this term.
FC Schalke 04 lost Kevin-Prince Boateng and Julian Draxler to red cards but came from two down to draw with Eintracht Frankfurt, yet remain winless in the league. 
NK Maribor triumphed 2-1 at FC Koper thanks to efforts from Amir Derviševič and Tavares, despite ending the game with ten men.
• The goals flowed for Sporting Clube de Portugal as they put Gil Vicente to the sword in a 4-0 triumph.

FC Porto dropped points for the second week running, contesting a 0-0 draw with Boavista FC.
Athletic Club continue to struggle in Spain after suffering a 1-0 home loss to Granada CF.
FC Shakhtar Donetsk's perfect league start ended as they lost 2-0 to FC Zorya Luhansk.
• Leaders in Belarus, FC BATE Borisov, host second-placed FC Dinamo Minsk on Monday evening, hoping to stretch their three-point cushion at the top to six.
