'Dream move'
Carcary was released by Queen's Park so he could sign professional terms with the UEFA Champions League hopefuls. A Queen's Park statement said: "The club felt it wouldn't be right to stand in the way of the youngster's dream move. He signed terms with the Glasgow giants after the Ibrox side beat off a host of clubs for the striker's signature."
International experience
Carcary has played three times for the Scotland Under-18 team. Meanwhile, the Brazilian midfield player Emerson has returned home to join CR Vasco da Gama after he was released by Rangers earlier this summer. The 32-year-old said: "Scotland was too cold for me and my family to settle there."
