FC Barcelona v Paris Saint-Germain (first leg 3-1)
• Barcelona have won away 3-1 in the first leg of only one previous European Cup tie, against Bayer 04 Leverkusen in the 2011/12 UEFA Champions League round of 16. They won the second leg 7-1.

• Paris have never before lost a home first leg 3-1 in the European Cup.

• Only once in 48 European Cup ties has a team qualified for the next round after losing the first leg 1-3 at home (2.1%). That came in 1968/69, when AFC Ajax won 3-1 away from home in the second leg against SL Benfica after losing the first leg 1-3. The Dutch side won the replay 3-0.
